There seems to be a trend at the moment to leave your address of your CV. However this can mean your CV fails the initial screening by recruiters.
Certainly for most employers in the property sector, geography is important as most roles need to be branch based or working a geographical area. `
Most employers work on a 30 minute commute time as being an acceptable journey, more than that and the likelihood of you finding your commute to much later down the line and leaving becomes higher. Of course in some areas this is extended due to remoteness of a location – but for Surrey and the home counties 30minutes is the rule of thumb.
Leaving your postcode or address of your CV may mean you are overlooked depending on the popularity of the role.
As we are living in such a digital age and CVs are often on the internet, its understandable to be concerned about your privacy or security of information. My advice is to therefore put the first part of your post code. Ie GU5 / SL10 / SW15 is more than acceptable for recruiters to place you as a suitable candidate within the region and process your CV. A full address can be obtained further down the recruitment journey.
